A bit more about our oxygen concentrators:
DeVilbiss 1025KS – An oxygen concentrator from the American company DeVilbiss, known for its high oxygen flow rate, adjustable from 2 to 10 L/min. One of its key advantages is the high output pressure (20 PSI), which allows the use of long oxygen tubing or nasal cannulas. This model is louder (under 57 dB) than 5 L/min concentrators due to a larger compressor required to achieve the 10 L/min capacity. However, the high output pressure allows the unit to be placed far from the patient – even 10–15 meters. The 1025KS is the lightest high-flow concentrator on the market, weighing just 19 kg, whereas comparable models from other manufacturers weigh between 23 and 26 kg.
DeVilbiss 525KS / 515KS / 515AKS – These are oxygen concentrators from DeVilbiss with a standard flow range of 0.5 to 5 L/min. A key advantage is the relatively high output pressure for this class (8.5 PSI), enabling the use of long oxygen tubing or nasal cannulas (4–10 m). Noise levels are under 40 dB.
The 525KS model (shown in the picture) is currently in production and weighs 16.3 kg. The older 515KS/515AKS models are heavier (24 kg) but remain highly efficient and quiet.
Philips EverFlo – A concentrator from the American brand Philips with a standard flow rate of 0.5 to 5 L/min. Notable for its lightweight design – only 15 kg (1.3 kg less than the DeVilbiss 525KS). However, its output pressure is lower (5–7 PSI, typically factory-set to 6.0 PSI), which supports tubing lengths of around 4–7 meters. Noise level is below 40 dB.
Invacare Perfecto2 – Manufactured by the American company Invacare, this unit offers a standard flow of 0.5 to 5 L/min and weighs 21 kg. It features a quiet operation (<37 dB) and an output pressure of 5 PSI. Compared to other models, it stands out for being about 3 dB quieter
DeVilbiss iGO2 – A portable oxygen concentrator from DeVilbiss. It delivers oxygen in a pulse flow mode with 5 flow settings and features Smart Dose technology, which automatically adjusts oxygen delivery to match the user’s physical activity, increasing efficiency during exertion. The noise level is <37 dB.
It runs on battery power for approximately 3.5 hours at a medium setting (level 2), allowing users to move freely without needing constant recharging. It’s very lightweight, weighing just 2.2 kg with the battery.
Activox – A portable oxygen concentrator from the American company Activox. It provides oxygen in a pulse flow mode with 4 flow settings. Noise level is <37 dB.
The unit operates on battery power for about 4 to 4.5 hours at a medium setting (level 2), offering mobility without frequent recharging. It’s also very lightweight, weighing 2.2 kg including the battery.
